Whilst in Osaka I went to a bike shop a few times called Circle Geek. Run by a great bunch of guys that were really nice and showed us around to alot of their spots and hangouts. Akira, Toshigon and a few others who were really awesome hosts really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and gave us some really good souvenirs and memories. THANKS!

Akira Okamura, Shane Bingham, Brett, Yours truely, Toshigon

But on another note, I found this blog, freeee.jp which must be run by a few involved with Circle Geek. Some really nice refreshing photography and they feature alot of Magic Fruits parts, which John told me about and I really dig the style and build of the forks. The curved style looks so much more refined over Directors, and the D450 smiley bolt is an awesome feature!
I can’t wait to head back to Circle Geek and ride again with you all.

Sad news today as Osaka street legend Atsushi Kuroi passed away today, falling victim of a motorcycle accident.
The news hit home with me a little as his dedication to driving on the street despite competing at top level has been something I have admired for years.
Not to mention his build and driving style was one that has been emulated though never properly equaled by many people.
I have stories of friends visiting his shop randomly, meeting him at various spots in the greater Osaka region and telling of him giving passenger runs without question, going far out of his way and driving people to and from the touge with little or no introduction.
Pour one out for the man.
AMIGOS OF DAVE
January 21, 2010
Truly humble people in this world are a rarity. Its not every morning or night you come across someone who can put another being in front of themselves and not request anything in return or feeling like anyone owes them something.
Friends and brothers Dave & Daniel Montoya are two of the people I can call truly humble. They have been on a journey to the United States to seek alternative treatment for Dave, whom inĀ 2008 was diagnosed with a deepĀ brain tumor- Anaplastic Oligoastrocytoma, located in the right lateral ventricle.
This as shocking as it was, I have never, and still do not doubt Dave’s ability to beat his condition and to continue to be a source of laughter, organic food hideouts and amazing photography.
I would rather not put words into peoples mouths, and urge to please visit the Amigos of Dave page and learn about Dave’s conditions and their journey and donate if you can.

witty title about wes anderson here.

It’s no secret that I’m a big Wes Anderson fan. His films exude a quirky wit, with almost juvenile directing in some places. It almost seems that when watching some alot of people feel their imaginations revert to that of a young child almost. But everyone knows how good his films are. Shame my girlfriend won’t say the same thing.
This link gives you some of the best moments in his films with their somewhat impeccable song choices, I don’t agree with all of them, though there is some diamonds in the rough here. I definitely agree with the Life Aquatic scene using Sigur Ros, which as simple as it was with less than great animation, was a real string puller.
still here…

I haven’t forgotten about this. Just been busy as shit!
22 new clients in the last 2 months alone means no real time to saviour things, like building cars and bikes.
Harry & I did the Bridge – bridge Alleycat last week. It was fun! Not too sure about my adeptness on the fixed gear though…
